Website Privacy Policy

My website privacy policy is an AI generated policy and it refers to the use of information you put on the site as you interact with it. I don’t really understand it, and like everyone I just click “I agree” but I have included it as written (by the AI) with a few additions of my own if you want to read it!

Counselling/Therapy Privacy & Terms of Use Policy

My therapy privacy policy on the other hand, I have written to ensure you understand how I use your information. In summary it says I make every attempt to keep your information confidential and private including the ability to remotely delete it if my device(s) are stolen however I cannot guarantee anything because it’s the web!

My ‘terms of use’ are worth reading because if we come to dispute, and counselling can be intense, it is these that will determine the outcome of any dispute. I get you to sign off on these condition before you can undertake counselling but I know that most people just tick yes, I encourage you to read and ask questions. I like curiosity. Remember a healthy person has a curious and joyful rest state – practice this now.

Client Feedback/Comments

The client feedback statements on my web site are generated by the same AI that generated the website. I made minor changes to them to reflect what my clients actually say but they remain essentially computer generated. If you want to give me feedback I can use I would appreciate it. My client tend to just recommend me to other people and at the time of writing (2025) I had no referrals from this website, they are all word of mouth. That speaks for itself!!

Animaception theory

Animaception is the theory that emotions give importance to information – much like weighting in AI. In this theory the ability to remain in charge of your emotions gives the ability to remain in charge of the value and urgency of information thus making our ability to think more clearly and effectively.
